Half-day session | Classroom
1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
What gets counted counts! Numbers, as well as vision, drive the planning process. Critical to Boulder County’s planning efforts was the need to establish and apply methods for documenting bicyclist volumes, an essential metric for evaluating the usage and relative safety of bicycle infrastructure. Learn what options were explored, selected and applied. The Colorado DOT and the City of Boulder share their experience in developing protocol. Bring your own questions and experiences as we build a body of knowledge.
APBP will apply to the American Institute of Certified Planners (AICP) for Certification Maintenance credits for this workshop. A certificate of attendance will be offered to those who document their professional development hours in other fields.
Note: Monday workshops and lunch are not included in the registration fee; these programs may be purchased separately. ($45 APBP members; $50 non-members)
